Design is larger than I thought but it is still a great design for a backing for light bright applique or a texture fabric for shadow and light. Feel is soft, weave seems tight and it is a good non fraying fabric. Kaufman's batiks are usually very good I have found over the years that they work well for needle turn applique and machine. Washes well and gets more character with use. Thank you Kaufman and Fabric Lovers.com. My fabric is waiting to come off the washing line to be ironed.
