Pattern can be made from 1 fat quarter of fabric or use 1/4 yard. Finished size is approximately 4 1/4" x 3".  Joan suggests Fabric Fusion Velcro to finish this off (see below).

I love Joan's patterns, always great instructions and easy to follow--I get professional results every time. But the wonder wallet was disappointing that so many layers were too bulky to look professional. However it functions great. :-) Just not the professional look of the rest of her pattens,
